A5022935 Diego is an adorable 12-year-old black neutered male Maltese and Poodle mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 3rd as an owner surrender for what the owner said was a personal reason. Weighing 17 lbs, Diego was left at the shelter with his friend Beau [A5022934], and they are a very cute pair. While it would be ideal for someone to take them home together, it’s important to get them into a home even if they have to go separately. Diego shows strong signs of housebreaking and is good on leash. He has a low energy level and an incredibly sweet disposition. Diego has typical senior dog issues: he is a little hard of hearing and has cloudy eyes and a few lumps, but that makes him even more precious. Since Diego has that poodle hair, he may be hypo-allergenic and he certainly isn’t going to shed! We really want Diego to spend the rest of his long life in a loving secure home so please take him home soon. Diego will gratefully share his golden years with you and be a loyal and loving best friend.
