The PS22 Chorus of 2009 made their second MTV appearance this week on "It's On With Alexa Chung." (They were featured on MTV News just 2 weeks before!) It's amazing the success the chorus has had, and the kids show just how well they've handled their success in this video. They are truly an incredible bunch of kids!
Alexa was incredibly cool and down to earth with us. She was obviously taken by the kids and their brilliant performance.
In this video:
1) Alexa sings the praises of PS22 and gives a special shout out to the father of the faux-hawk, Justin!
2) The chorus rehearses a promo. They agree to allow us to sing our part instead. F.H. Justin gives an Academy-Award winning performance while practicing. Alexa sings along and shows she's got some pipes too!!
3) Alexa again shows more versatility playing Solfiegetto by C.P.E. Bach on piano
4) The kids reflect on the bus ride home. In order of appearance:
